Agreement
These terms govern your use of this website and any coaching services you purchase from Lotus & Anchor. By booking a session or buying a package, you agree to them.
What coaching is — and isn't
Coaching is a forward-focused professional partnership aimed at helping you set and reach goals. It is not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, medical care, legal advice, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for any of them. Your coach does not diagnose or treat any condition.
If something arises that is better served by a licensed professional, your coach will say so and may recommend you seek that support. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact a licensed provider or call or text 988 in the United States.
No guarantee of results
Coaching outcomes depend heavily on your own effort, honesty, and follow-through. We will bring skill, structure, and full attention to the work. We cannot and do not guarantee any specific result, income, promotion, or life outcome. You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions.
Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellation
- Sessions are booked through the client portal.
- You may reschedule or cancel a session yourself up to 24 hours before its start time.
- Sessions cancelled or missed with less than 24 hours' notice are considered used. [ADJUST if she wants a grace policy.]
- If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session may be treated as a no-show. [ADJUST]
- If your coach must reschedule, you will be offered the next available time at no cost to you.
Package expiration
Sessions in a package must be used within [EXPIRY — e.g. 6 months] of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. [ADJUST or remove.]
Payment
Packages are paid in advance through our payment processor. Where a payment plan is offered, you authorize the scheduled charges for the full term. Failed or declined payments may pause services until resolved. All prices are in U.S. dollars.
Refunds
[REFUND POLICY — decide before launch. A common and defensible position: unused sessions are refundable on request minus sessions already delivered at the standard single-session rate; completed sessions are not refundable. Whatever is chosen must be stated plainly here and honored.]
Confidentiality
Your coach keeps the content of sessions confidential in line with the ICF Code of Ethics, subject to the limited exceptions described in our Privacy Policy. Anonymized, non-identifying reflections may be used for the coach's own professional supervision and development.
Your responsibilities
You agree to show up on time and prepared, engage honestly, and take responsibility for the actions you choose. You agree not to record a session without prior written consent from your coach.
Intellectual property
Worksheets, frameworks, and other materials provided to you are licensed for your personal use only. Please don't redistribute, resell, or publish them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lotus & Anchor's total liability arising out of the coaching relationship is limited to the amount you paid for the services in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Ending the relationship
Either of us may end the coaching relationship at any time with written notice. Refunds for unused sessions are handled under the refund policy above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
